| THE MASTURBATING PEN The greatest creation of art is the artist. He paints from an empty palette, writes with a dried up pen; he carves with a headless mallet - strokes his ego all over again. The work of art is pretext: both ode and frieze are Zimmer frames supporting frail self-love. He sits in the waiting rooms of our minds clutching a biro whose semen is blue and scans into joy the tedium that binds moment to moment, spelling untrue the meaning of life and rhyming it wrong. Spinner of dreams, queen bee laying thoughts infertile without the jelly of song, now he sublime psychoses disports.
