In one of the letters written to the Infeld group in Warsaw Einstein wrote:
"A new manner of thinking is essential if humankind is to survive."

Welcome to Relativistic Dialectics.

I have been playing at this time with the idea of extending physical Relativity
over the whole human Universe of Discourse and replacing old dogmatic Logic
with this "Relativistic Dialectic". I asked both Infeld and Einstein if such RD could be this "new manner of thinking", this new Reason. The answer was "try and see", however expressed in rather enthusiastic way and accompanied with promise of support.

"Reason" and "rationality" are often used in a narrow meaning, confused with
"logic", "inference", "deduction", "induction", etc.  We shall consider "Reason"
in its most general connotation (comparable to that of "Logos" stripped of its
metaphysical implications) encompassing Sensations, Images and Symbols as well as such Mind faculties as Perception, Understanding, Lateral Thinking and Volition in context of respective areas of Mind.

Consequently our concept of Reason and RD encompasses such Mind faculties as Perception, Understanding and Volition and such domains of human Universe of Discourse as Epistemology (thus Knowledge, Science and Craftsmanship), as Aesthetics (thus Literature, Music, Painting and Art in general), as Ethics (thus Morality and Law) and, surprisingly enough, Religion (indeed we shall found and discuss the concept of "Rational Religion," where "Rational" is taken in our broad connotation.)

"Relativistic Dialectic" is the main section of the present site.

"Crisis of Logic" and "Einstein's Relativity" are satellite sections destined to provide prerequisites required by the main section.

Several issues of this site have been discussed in various workshops which helped to formulate them in a way understandable by large public. Consequently, the Reader should not be surprised by frequent references to "workshops". Currently several such workshops are running and will contribute to future chapters of the present site. Readers wishing to join them and actively contribute to this development are asked to send me a request to: zgmet@wanadoo.fr

Currently we are discussing in workshops "Einstein's Relativity", which should be ready in a few weeks after which we shall procede to discuss the main section "Relativistic Dialectic".

"Crisis of Logic" is complete as far as workshops are concerned and will be
soon transfered to this site.
