My father was German origin, hiding in Poland from Nazis. I was bilingual and dressed up as HJ could move freely in the high security German part of Warsaw.
This gave me deep background knowledge of all involved parts: Ghetto and hiding Jews, Polish Resistance, Polish blackmailers and collaborators and, finally Gestapo, SS, SD and HJ.
I soon found how wrong were common places and generalizations: I have been denounced by a Jew, I knew a captain of AK partisans who murdered hiding Jews, I have been saved by an SS Man. Exceptional as they were, these facts proved that no dogmatic, absolute classification may possibly be applied to humans. The AK officer responsible for Gestapo penetration for whom I
worked was a lady, the rather famous captain Danuta. Jadwiga Mierzejewska was her real name.
In occupied Poland, let alone in the Ghetto, there were no schools and I never went to any regular school in my life. After the war autodidact youngsters like myself were admitted to Universities as free students. I followed some courses at various places and finally was authorised to join the branch of Einstein's team opened in Warsaw Mathematical Institute by Infeld, where I worked on Relativity.
I was struck by the similarity, if not equivalence of my intuitive anti-dogmatism and the physical principle of relativity. Physics admits exclusively relative propositions. When we say that a stone is heavy, we imply a relation to the earth: we know that it would be quite light on the moon, that in the cosmic space its weight would totally disappear. In Physics an absolute statement is neither true, nor false; it is just a meaningless and logically indeterminate noise.
In the human domain absolute propositions are equally absurd, but we lack an authority, a humanistic Galileo, or Einstein, to reinforce this truth.
Consequently, I conceived the idea of extending the relativity principle over the entire human universe of discourse. It found enthusiastic support of Infeld and I have posed its first foundations with his help.
Under the name of Relativistic Dialectics it became the obsession of my life to which I have dedicated 40 years. It has never been recognized by the establishmen, which is quite understandable: it calls in the question all social, religious, political and scientific dogma upon which our society is founded.
Sadly, I would be contradicting myself by pretending that Relativistic Dialectics is the last word of wisdom, that it is absolutely true. If I learned anything from Infeld and Einstein, it's their fundamental conviction that every theory, every model in the moment of its formulation becomes obsolete, calls itself in the question and becomes a challenge for the successive one, which is going to replace it. In this sense I would like to present Relativistic Dialectics in this site.

Editor's Note:The AK (Armia Krajowa (Home Army) originated from the Sluzba Zwyciestwu Polski (Polish Victory Service), created in September 27th 1939 by Gen. Michael Torkarzewski-Karaszewicz. November 17th, Gen. Wladyslaw Sikorski replaced this organization with the Zwiazek Walki Zbrojnej (Union for Armed Struggle), which became after joining with the Polski Zwiazek Powstanczy the AK in February 14th 1942. The AK's first commander was Stefan Rowecki (known as Grot, or "arrowhead"), until his arrest in 1943; he was succeeded by Tadeusz Bór-Komorowski, from July 1943 until the latter's capture in September 1944.
