Rare photograph of The Guild of Heideggerian Academic Apologists Brass Band.
The group disbanded in 1983, and merged with S.H.I.T.P.A.N.
('Society of Heideggerian International Thinkers for the Ending of Prosecutions  Against Nazis.)

(Note Hannah Arendt following up in the rear - centre.)
In the original sound recording of this event which sadly has degraded beyond all efforts to restore it to it's former condition,  Arendt's shrill heavily accented voice can be heard joining in with the crowd as they sing the words to the famous Colonel Bogey March:

'Hitler had only one left ball

Heidy had two -  but they were small.

  Himmler was somewhat similar

And poor old Goebbels had no balls at all'

It is reported that upon the singing of the second line of the well-known song all heads turned towards the famous philosopher's ex-girlfriend, upon which she blushed profusely and lowered her head, but soon raised it again defiantly -  as if to say:
'HE might have been lacking in that department - BUT I AM NOT!'

(Anectdote kindly supplied by Dr. Ephriam Snood -  who can be seen on Arendt's left in the photograph.)
