A DYING MAN WITH HOPE TO CHANGE HIS PAST?
upon waking

A DYING MAN WITH HOPE TO CHANGE HIS PAST? upon waking

I have forgotten the faces of women

That I once loved even in my dreams.

They are keen in waking recall still,

But it troubles me they're gone in sleep.

Why now worry about past things gone,

Irrecoverable in any way?

Or rather now do I worry

That I do not wonder at their loss?
