Regarding the Korean habit of eating dogs, which I've been reading about. It reminds me of a film I saw many years ago called 'El Mundo Carne' (Italian for 'The dogs world.’) In the film, a very rich woman goes to a exceedingly expensive restaurant in Korea, and orders the most extravagant wines and a very costly meal. On her lap is a highly- bred pedigree dog - a tiny little thing. The dog is thirsty - so the woman tries to explain using sign-language to the waiter, that she wants him to give her beloved pet a drink. Of course, you've already guessed what happens next. The waiter brings the dog back on a plate with an apple in its mouth! The woman then goes into hysterics and faints on the ground |
