My Love of Books

The great works of literature will always be there to provide comfort, inspiration and stimulation. The works that I have stand like a phalanx of ever-present guardians and friends on my bookshelves around me.

I must try to get hold of a book in English called the Golden Century of Spanish Literature, for I find the Spaniard's poetic awareness of the fleetingness of life and their Carpe Diem approach totally irresistible.
